I love this crazy bad picture of the kids. Fake smiles, Lily looking off in the wrong direction, and Ethan looks like he's about to fall backwards after too much egg nog. If you zoom in I'm sure you won't miss all the extraneous boogers and drool stains.
Lily enjoyed wrapping presents very much. She called it "making presents" as in, "Doh 'way, guys! Making presents!" She didn't much care what they were so long as she got to tape profusely. She got a hat, a scarf, sunglasses, and a backpack for Christmas. She's looked like this for 4 days:

those horrible christmas morning photos are my favorite...boogers and all.
and taping profusely is also my favorite part of gift wrapping. awesome.
merry christmas!
I love Jakey's quote. You're family is so fun! We'll miss you as neighbors...all those random doorbell dings for eggs, oil, milk, etc. Whatever shall we do?
Sarah "helped" me with the wrapping by ripping off a piece of tape and attaching it to the tape holder, thus making it easy for me to simply grab. Great in theory until she makes so many layers I can't use any of it.
As for Jake, it sounds like you haven't had enough Looney Toons. I mean, did a pie actually spring out of the box? Then you're lacking in Toons time.
I want the rest of your cool advent!!
I love that picture of your kids. Ours was one that required the "action setting" on camera... not a single one with everyone in one place! :)
