Saturday Afternoon
I'm thinking about setting all the clocks in the house ahead a couple of hours so I can put the kids in bed at 6:00. They'll never know.
Ethan's Taekwondo class is for homeschoolers so there are usually a couple of other mom's there with kids in tow. We all bring things for the kids to do so we have a small mountain of workbooks, crayons, toys, and sippy cups to keep them occupied. Jacob is the only boy. Emma and 3 little girls were playing happily with a herd of ponies until Jake walked over and picked up the purple one. "This one burps!" he announced. "Ewww!" all the girls squealed. Happy with the response he got he elaborated, "This one burps in your face!"
The funny thing was that even after Jakey had abandoned the burping pony none of the girls would touch it again. "I don't want to play with that one, Jacob says it burps!"

I love it. Everything at my house burps! I doubt it will phase my girl!
Now that's funny. Thanks for sharing...boys, boys, boys!
Your personal horse whisperer...
tell me how the clock thing works out... that sounds brilliant! :)
I helped with lydia's class art project last week and had similar observations about boys and girls. Girls NEEDING to know what others did so they could copy and spend FOREVER on their pinch pots. Boys FLEW through the project. So classic. And scary!
I worked with a RS pres that came up with a great solution to the primary banging on the RS door every Sunday after church. She set the RS clock a few minutes fast and the Primary clock a few minutes slow.
can you call me today? I need to ask you some ordering questions.
