High and (not so) Dry

So, we have decided to pass on the IB company retreat this year, a western Carribean cruise. Tom won the fare even though sales have been down considerably. It's just too much trouble finding help with the kids. Lily is at a tough age to leave for eight days. So, instead of basking in the sun we will stay soggy with the family. Truthfully, I'm not much into the cruise thing anyway. If it was a vacation that I pay for, I think a cruise would be last on my list. I'm a little odd, I know, but there you have it.

Went on 1 cruise before. I was miserable and SO SICK! I don't blame you for missing out!

We have never been on a cruise because we can't quite decide how we feel about them.

We'll take the cruise for you if you don't want to go! P.S. I tried to use the link below to read about the Prop 8 stuff and it wouldn't work.

Thanks!

we've only ever been on one cruise but it was easily my favorite vacation so far. c'mon, midnight chocolate buffet?! good food, relaxing on the deck, fun activities and especially enjoying the different ports. most importantly, the soft serve ice cream machine is ALWAYS open! after one day i told rich, "i've found my people!" we went with a big group of friends and that made it a ton more fun. we can't wait to go again.

BUT, i totally get how it's hard to find help with the kids, especially when they're tiny like lily. but when she's old enough, GO on a cruise, so much fun!

I feel the same way. I can't even make myself go on a date without Hyrum yet because he's at the stranger anxiety age. I did have someone watch him Sunday so I could play the piano for choir practice and I found out he cried the whole time. Jared wants to try this Friday...we'll see.
