Emma planned for over two weeks on making Daddy cupcakes for his birthday. Every night she would whisper to me in bed, "Mommy, will you help me make cupcakes for Daddy's birthday? Shh! It's going to be a surprise!" Followed by alternating excited giggles and more shushing.
